The GEL 2477, 2- channel speed sensor delivers a square-wave, current or voltage output and provides safe detection of very slow rotation from 0 Hz without pulse loss and for high-speed rotation up to 25 kHz.
The speed sensor operates based on the magnetic measurement principle. It is maintenance- and wear-free and operates contact free. Measurement of rotation is acquired from ferromagnetic target wheels and two channels shifted by 90° provide the direction of rotation.
