The SM45...100 series of synchronous servomotors, in conjunction with Kollmorgen Seidel amplifiers, have the excellent qualities typical of Kollmorgen Seidel technology.

 
The rotor is fitted with NEODYMIUM permanent magnets around its circumference.

 

The magnetic material is an important factor in making it possible to drive these motors in a highly dynamic fashion.

 

The motors can be delivered with or without a built-in holding brake.


The standard version of each motor is fitted with a thermostat (electrically isolated, normally closed).


The feedback unit consists of a brushless tachometer generator with rotor position sensor.
